This is a love story where the protagonist is timeless Italian beauty.

The project created by the photographer Valentina Oprandi and the wedding designer Chiara Briccola reflects the desire to celebrate and share this beauty in all its aspect and shades.

Immersed in the Como countryside and a few kilometers from Como, the venue we have chosen for our project, Dandelion Como is a historic courtyard transformed into a boutique hotel. The property is an authentic example of a Lombard court and its existence is evidenced by some commercial documents dating back to the 15th century. The Villa, originally the mansion of landowners, became in the 1920s an aristocratic country house for a Milanese family who bought it to live in during the summer. Today it looks like a sophisticated villa furnished with designer pieces from the 1900s and many exclusive fabrics that celebrate the textile tradition of Como.

In this wonderful place, The Garden of Love set up a relaxed scenography for celebration, with a half-moon decor in front of the villa. The half-moon arch, decorated with hydrangeas, garden roses, phlox, peonies, dahlias, oxypethalum in a pastel color palette, was the perfect frame for a romantic ceremony. She chose flowers with ancient shapes, such as Eugenie roses by David Austin Wedding Roses, to have a fil rouge with the atmosphere of the venue.

A romantic table for our alfresco party under the old wisteria emphasized the link between the past and our vision of the future where each detail is carefully studied to have the best result. Stationary cared by Ardesia Bottega Creativa, the cake and sweets by Tarantola and little soap gift by Bianca and Me gave another glamourous touch to complete our fairytale.

Finally, the fantastic tailor-made light blue gown created by the talented Silvia Valli was perfectly in harmony with the place and decoration. She created a cloud of tulle and a delicate bustier for our beautiful red hair bride. The make-up and hair were sapiently curated by BLBS Management.
